Murthy H.V.V. PhD is the Bio-statistician at Asian Institute of Gastroenterology. He has about 25 years of experience in the areas of Health and social sector. He has held senior positions at different institutions like Indian Institute of Health & Family welfare, Society for rural Elimination of Poverty, Centre for Good Governance and the like. He has also served as consultant to national and international organizations His current interests are application of statistical method to bio-medical research, enhancing the capacities in the application of statistical methods among   the staff at Asian Institute of Gastroenterology in their specific areas. Also well versed in the application of various software’s. He has also recipient of fellowships and visited London (LSC), Belgium (Advanced Course), Thailand (WHO) etc and also was UGC visiting fellow to universities.
